Going to sit back this evening with a glass of wine and listen to it again. You make bluesy music come alive.

All right Monica! I appreciate the comment, but I feel like I’m a little ways away yet from authentic blues. Since I have had the blues, I’m confident I will arrive there. Enjoy the wine!

Thanks, Thaissa… as far as the “blues“ goes, I’m just poking the monster. A lot of learning yet to go, but I love the genre.

Great vocal composure, roughness and tone- solid lyrics, just a great song all in all- thanks for posting.

Lovely! Is that a 15 series martin? I have a D15 myself, Martins in general are such great guitars.

They do. I’ve had a Martin tenor guitar (1942) and a Martin ukulele (very old…no serial number, which means they gave it to artists to try out before it went into production) before I found a 6-string that sounded like it belonged in the family, I led bands with the other two for years. I’m definitely a Martin man!

My D15 has been a loyal companion for 17 years. Every time i consider another guitar I just ask why bother, i have everything i need. I do however consider maybe a smaller model for more melodic tunes.. but I'd only want another martin and my budget doesnt currently stretch that far 😅.... Or my marriage... If i was to introduce yet another guitar i'd be thrown out... Rightly so.
