All right Monica! I appreciate the comment, but I feel like I’m a little ways away yet from authentic blues. Since I have had the blues, I’m confident I will arrive there. Enjoy the wine!
They do. I’ve had a Martin tenor guitar (1942) and a Martin ukulele (very old…no serial number, which means they gave it to artists to try out before it went into production) before I found a 6-string that sounded like it belonged in the family, I led bands with the other two for years. I’m definitely a Martin man!
My D15 has been a loyal companion for 17 years. Every time i consider another guitar I just ask why bother, i have everything i need. I do however consider maybe a smaller model for more melodic tunes.. but I'd only want another martin and my budget doesnt currently stretch that far 😅.... Or my marriage... If i was to introduce yet another guitar i'd be thrown out... Rightly so.
lol! I have a couple of good friends with the same problem. They went on a buying spree during the pandemic, and then there was finally put the foot down.
throaty exhortative and damn if i dont crave the release of doing vocals like that....the guitar now i cradle close but the other well...i envy the lack of inhibition
Going to sit back this evening with a glass of wine and listen to it again. You make bluesy music come alive.

Blues. All day long. Sat and just listened all of it. So good. So glad you’re back.
:)
Very great job, Sea! ✨
Thanks, Thaissa… as far as the “blues“ goes, I’m just poking the monster. A lot of learning yet to go, but I love the genre.
Love this!
OK, you heard it! I think I’m going backwards on Substack today. Thank you so much Monica for the kind words!
Just incredible and wonderful
Great song and great post and welcome back.
Thanks, and thanks, and it’s great to be back in Health! I really appreciate it, Allan!
Thats terrific
Great vocal composure, roughness and tone- solid lyrics, just a great song all in all- thanks for posting.
You’re welcome. Thanks for the kind words, James.
Exquisite, my man. What can I say? You got that je-ne-sais-quoi!
Lovely! Is that a 15 series martin? I have a D15 myself, Martins in general are such great guitars.

Thank you, buddy. I’m sending you a voice via dark clouds, which will rain down, and allow your voice to thrive!
Great song 🎵!
